I’m not even going to comment on the liquid. The only impressive aspect of this product to me is the level of consistency the brewers achieve. It is amazing that they create the same known flavor profile enormous batch after enormous batch in several different locations. This is the science side and craft beer is the art.

Pours a very pale gold with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is almost non existent but is slightly sweet and malty. Clean, malty sweet flavor. My bottle is nearly a year old, but shows no signs of oxidation. Not quite watery body and a dry finish. Really, if there were just a bit more hop aroma and bitterness, this beer would improve greatly.

Awful beer. Bland and tasteless until warm then unbearable. Pale straw in colour, very little aroma. Most likely the worst beer I have ever tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From memory, since I won’t waste money on it now. For the category, it’s good. For craft beer, it isn’t.

Bottle - pale golden with a thin white ring of a head. Aroma of nothing. I can’t pick up a thing. Taste is faintly of corn, and again really nothing much. Light body, low carbonation. One of the poorest excuses of a beer I’ve ever had. And their description makes is sound like they’ve done something truly outstanding. Terrible.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours clear straw, fast gassy head. No lace, no retention. No real aroma other than corn. Tastes like cereal, slight sweet, no bitterness. Body like water, highly carbonated, mouth feels like water. Finishes. Drank many of these in the 80’s. :-(

From can 27.01.15. 4,4 % ABV for the Norwegian marked. Clear and very pale straw colour. Foamy bright white head. Almost no aroma. Very low bitterness and little taste. Waterish, with a hint of artificial sweetners in aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2015 Light yellow, almost transparent, pour. A flash of a white head. Nose is grain. Neither really sweet nor bitter. Middle is little hard fruit, grain. Finish is a little dry, more from carbonation than hop presence. Not much else to say.

0,33l Flasche. Hellgelbes Bier? Wo ist der Schaum? Leichtes Aroma nach Malz, das war alles was evtl. an Bier erinnern könne. Ich hatte das Gefühl ich trinke ein Glas Wasser. Unterirdisch!

Decided to take this beer for a test. A dull and watery beer, lacks body or flavour and does not live up to it’s slogan ’king of beers’.
