Tap at the brewpub. The body was hazy dark amber with a bright white head on top. The aroma was grapefruit with some peanuts. The taste was bitter grapefruit with some peanut shells. There was a clean, hoppy finish. Very good for the style.

Tasted 7/16/10. Pint from the brewpub. Hazy with a pale golden hue. Moldy off-white head. Aromas of citrus and earthy hops. Medium bodied with a cherry hard candy flavor. Nicely done. Interesting estery note, but it works.

Pours brown / copper with a sudsy head. The aroma has citrus / orange / tropical fruit hops and some toasty malt - very clean. It has a medium grainy body that is lightly harsh with nice carbonation. The flavor starts dry and woody with some pine and a bit on the papery side. The malt is very faint and could use a bit more for some balance. The finish has dirty earthy hops. A decent beer.
