Tap at Flying Saucer, Sugar Land. Pours a glassy amber with a nose of honey and gingerbread. (?) Flavor is light gingerbread (?), nutmeg, and roasted malt. Average mouthfeel. I know it wasn’t the gingerbread stout but it sure had some gingerbread in it. Not bad.

Very well constructed beer true to the ESB styling. Rush of taste with a certain hopoiness followed by a somewhat sweet finish.

On tap at Porch Swing. Server described it as "a copper ale" and I can’t argue with that. Malty with light bitterness. Good enough that we ordered a second pitcher.

On tap at Liberty Station. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is bready malt and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and light roast. A good ESB from Buffalo Bayou.

Tap at Flying Saucer. Clear orange-copper with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma fairly typical of a bitter, but less biscuity and more caramel. Taste is mild bitterness balanced by semi-sweet caramel and biscuit malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice and refreshing session beer. Not bad for Buffalo Bayou’s first release.
