Cloudy amber. Blanketous white head. Malty aroma and even maltier taste with a strong bitter finish leaving hints of toffee. Pretty darn good, but the more bitters you drink, the better they get. Its like fine wine gets better with time. I get better at drinking bitters with time.

Clear dark yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is suggesting a sweet beer, but taste is a nice bitter. Some sweet notes, floral. Short aftertaste. (Houston 201310) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Big fluffy head on a clear, light . Light brown-orange beer. Mality APA aroma. Mellow chalky-malt, toasted. Biscuity. Mild US hops. Very drinkable. Dryish and starchy at times. Quick, lightly bitter finish. On tap, Hay Merchant, Houston.

Dogbrick (8239) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Sample at Hay Merchant. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium thin creamy off-white head that recedes quickly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of roast malt, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

An amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with mineral notes, beany notes, OK. In mouth, smooth caramel malt with nutty and mineral notes, nice and refreshing. On tap at brewery, May 18 2013.

Theydon_Bois (9116) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2013
Tap at the Flying Saucer, Houston, 21/05/13. Lightly hazed copper golden with a thin off white head that retains well. Nose is on the thin side, malt, grass, caramel, paper. Taste comprises toffee, dark malt, sugars, light caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, touch of bitterness in the finish. Mediocre ESB no depth of flavour - a style really best suited to cask.

Tap, hay market Houston. Dark golden pour, very little head. Aroma is faint, but sweet, hints of caramel. First sip slightly bitter, not much complexity here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crispy34 (400) - Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Draft. The aroma is malty and a little bitter. The appearance is amber with a creamy, white head. The taste starts out an english bitter in the roof of the mouth with a darker malt flavor finish. Kinda sweet at the end as well. The palate is a sour bitter. Overall, a decent beer, but would order others over it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
