Cloudy apricot color. Foamy, lasting white head. Light grapefruit aroma. Light body like a session IPA but still full flavored with citrus and a lot of bitterness. Some orange meat in the flavor. Finish is airy amd foamy.

Pours cloudy orange. Great nose of tangerine. Long, bitter finish. A very decent IPA from Buff Bayou. I wish I liked their other offerings as much as this one.

Mildly bitter with mild ginger and citrus notes. Maybe a bit too mild overall but the combination is still quite tasty.

Draft. Hazy yellow. Mild hoppy nose. Taste is very bitter and musty. A bit flat and tasteless on the end.

Growler @ Oakquinox 2013. Golden orange pour with a white head. Strong ginger aroma to this. Nice and spicy. Some sweet orange citrus notes, a touch of grass, and a bit of bread. There’s a decent amount of orange to the flavor, but really quite a bit of ginger. Light bitterness, biscuit, and bread. Kind of watery, though.

Hazy golden; off-white head and plenty of lace. Citrusy aroma, ginger comes out more in the taste. Light spice, and quite dry. Overall good, but relatively mild for an ipa.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2014 On tap at Flying Saucer Beerfeast. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong pine and ginger. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet hop and citrus with nice lingering bitter finish. Easy to drink a good IPA from Buffalo Bayou.

Draft in glass .. . pours a deep gold amber .. . great amount of fluffy foam .. . smell is delicious sweet ginger and a touch of sap .. . quite bitter, but refreshing .. . a solid entry! .. . . I hope Jessica Biel names her first kid Batmo.
