Aged for one year. Poured into a 12 oz. Snifter and shared with a friend. Dark in color with a thick tannish head. Notes of all spice and ginger with a solid stout base. Recommend aging to those who are willing to wait.

Large shared bottle pours nearly black with a small, bubbly head. The aroma is a nice approximation of actual gingerbread, hinting that the flavor may be over spiced. Flavor: quite spicy but not overly spiced, creating a nice, lingering gingerbread aftertaste. Higher similarity to actual gingerbread than any other gingerbread beer in my experience. Full bodied with somewhat lively carbonation.

Extra from Cloaker-thanks! Fairly thick pour. Not oily thick, but opaque and black brown-looks nice. Lots of gingerbread spice on the nose, mostly clove, some nutmeg. Taste follows but also some dark roast stout elements to carry it. Should note this is about a year old, so the spice isn’t screaming. Not my thing, but the spicing is tolerable here and overall it’s better than I thought. Pumpkinator folks would love this.
