4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From deep within the pine rich forrest, the waft of gingerbread lures...actually, it seizes you by the scruff of the neck and hurls you into the candy laden cabin. The witch, proud of her creation, allows you to gaze about...the dark ginger cookie walls, the creamy hot cocoa, the peppermint chandelier...you are intoxicated with temptation and you drink heavily her potion...its smooth spiced chocolate coats your throat and warms you deeply. The bitterness of your fate materialized in liquid form...care not, doomed little one...just enjoy!

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Shared 22 oz. bottle. Pours almost black with a tan head that rapidly recedes to a thin film. Taste and aroma are surprisingly enough.....gingerbread. Maybe a bit of roasted malt coming through, but this is all gingerbread. Ginger, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. It’s as advertised, but the spices are too heavy for my tastes.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma: all gingerbread without any other beer characteristics; Appearance: pitch black with fizzy white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: lots of gingerbread with some underlying malt, verging on overwhelming; Palate: heavy bodied with long, ginger finish with slightly unpleasant taste; Overall: a small glass would be welcome but anything over 3-4 oz is too much; would not buy again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours very dark brown, almost black, with a bit of tan foam. Just a hint of red around the edges if held up to a bright light. Aroma is roasty with a strong spicy smell - gingersnaps. Taste is in-your-face ginger, a bit too much if you as me, with roasted coffee flavors. Good stuff, but tone down the ginger please.

Backlog from Brony Bottle Share at Travlr’s. Deep brown with lite tan head. Gingerbread spice dominates, over chocolate malt. Eh.
