Bronze pour, smooth on the palate, does not taste as strong as it is. Good balance of hops.

473ml can. Hazed dark golden pour. Aroma is horrible, some ougat, and nothingness, no hops. Falvor is smoky almost, some decent bitterness, herbs, booziness, caramel. This sucks.

Can. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has orange peel, pine cones and some resiny hints, and a light perfumed touch in the far back. The flavor is on the fruity side, with orange peel and pine cones and some maltyness. Full body and a little warmth on the palate. Nice carbonation level. Lasting bitter and fruity finish. A nice one indeed, I want more. 140613

Very bitter. Nice color. Good floral aroma. Not my favorite ipa, but I would definitely have two of these.

Sample at Mongoose vs Cobra. Slightly hazy copper-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and grainy malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and underlying sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Deep dark copper/golden with a foamy off ivory head. Wonderful floral hop nose with a grapefruit zesty note as well--sweet hoppy nose overall. Good bitter start to the flavor with a grapefruit zesty/floral dank tone, a bit earthy and bitter with a ample sweetness underneath it all to balance, though there’s no big nuance to it. Just bitter earthy grapefruit floral hops with a bit of sweetness.

On tap, poured into an imperial pint. Notes of pineapple, caramel, floral citrus, and bread crust come through on the nose. It pours a hazy amber orange with a thick white gelatin head that doesn’t dissipate much at all. It has a runny, snow drift-like lace. It’s a highly bitter beer balanced nicely by a high level of sweetness. The beer itself actually has a fairly thin, light texture (odd for a DIPA) with a full grassy body and a light, foamy carbonation. Caramel, grapefruit, light pineapple, and a pine flavor come through and it finishes crisp and clean with a dry, astringent, grapefruit finish.

Pours hazy copper, decent head. Aroma is light fruity, not citrus., kind of band aid plastic. Good malty taste, hides the alcohol. Balanced palate. Very drinkable.

The beer is mostly clear and golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of yeast, bread, hops, resin, grass, a touch of alcohol. Decent flavor. Bready and what I commonly refer to as a "balanced" IPA or DIPA. Resinous hops and pine notes with a warming alcohol finish. This is ok.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Deep orange with a big white head. Aroma is dank, bread, and light oranges. Taste is hot, almost vegetables, and bitter.
