Bronze pour, smooth on the palate, does not taste as strong as it is. Good balance of hops.

16oz can much thanks to Greame! Loving the name! Typing this with Christopher Walken voice in my head. Poured a hazy straw color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of ripe pineapple, old citrus, caramel malt, lemon, and some booze. Taste of ripe pineapple, pine, old grapefruit, and caramel and bready malts.

On tap at Onion Creek. Nice copper body. Nose is hoppy and clean. Taste is also hoppy, and ABV well hidden. Prickly texture. Enjoyable.

on tap at flying saucer in houston. ruch shade of deep golden with a fluffy white head; sweet, somewhat syrup-like tropical aroma; loads of papaya, medium bitterness but leaves the door open for some sticky marmalade in the finish

Pours a yellowish orange. Some head and lacing. Aromas are hardly discernible. Thick mouthfeel, super bitter on the tip of the tongue. Resin, pine, grapefruit. Not bad, not great.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2015 Draft at Craft Pride, Austin. I asked the bartender if this beer had a ton of hops, my exact words where, " Will this beer slap me in the face with hops?" He replied; "yes"... Well, I was lied to. Deep Amber color with thick lasting head. Aroma is a metric shit ton of caramel malt, light traces of a floral hop. From the color alone I can tell there is to much caramel malt.

The flavor has so much caramel malts that it muddles the floral hop character that really wants to come through in the flavor but it can’t because of the stupid amount of malt. This brewer did NOT tone down the grain bill for this. The sweetness takes over and with the alcohol level makes it hard to drink. If the brewer really scales back the malt bill and adds to the hop profile it will help this greatly. " see above commercial deScription on this "toned" down grain bill" yet another lie told to me.

In the words of Edgar Allen Poe in the poem " The Raven". I wil drink this "Never more"

Tap at Cottonwood in Houston. Slightly murky dirty golden pour with a white soapy head. Cotton candy sweetness. Soft palate with a bit of carbonation and hop zing. Very tasty.

Tallahassee, Fl. Quick N Save - 16 oz can. Pours a slightly hazy medium orange with a fluffy snow white head. Aroma has some crystal malt homebrewers funkiness, a touch of yeast. Flavor has some cotton candy sweetness, a touch of maple syrup, light citrus bitterness, but overall a bit cloying. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it. .

Decent double IPA. Good aroma of hops. Slightly harsh bitterness with a good backbone of caramel malt. Drops off a little at the end but good nonetheless.

Can shared at Max and Andy’s Tasting, 2/28/15
Somehow I never rated this one while I was spending as much time in Houston as I have, then it shows up at a tasting in NJ. As for the beer, it is very solid, with a good flavor combination. Clean and hoppy, slightly boozy. Not too bad

Can at Paul’s for the Fantasy Football 2015 tasting (courtesy of Max & Andy). Pours a golden amber body with white lacing. Mouthfeel is sugary and prickly carbonated with ntoes of bitter sweet citrus fruits - grapefruit, spicy hop profile, sugary malt, spice, sweet caramel malt and light alcohol.
