Bottle:   Deep brown, nice head and lacing.   Dry powdery cocoa like nose, a touch of dark chocolate and roasted malts.   Not as big or sweet on the tongue that I thought it would be.   As it warms the aroma starts to remind me of german chocolate cake.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Really lacking sweetness by the finish, for a Sweet Stout.   Okay example, but overall too subtle.   Thanks Bill!

22oz bottle in a teku. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, some light roast from the malts, vanilla, hints of cherries, and light dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad beer, but just too sweet for me.

Great beer. Not the straight red velvet flavor some of you were hoping for. Rather it is a hint to the creamy and chocolatey flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ 10K + OT. Thanks, Bobby. Dark brown, nearly black, pour with a khaki head. Roasted malt, oatmeal cookies, and coffee on the nose. Some dark chocolate and ash, as well. Taste is a bit more on the bitter side than expected. Roast, ash, and lots of cocoa. Coffee grounds, a bit of cookie sweetness, and some caramel. Not bad. Not good.

Bomber thanks to Zinister. Roasted malt, water, and earthy hops. Some floral hops, coffee, ash, and a hint of dry fruit. Flavor is big on the roast with some light acidic notes. A bit bland and watery. Hints of dark fruit, coffee, dark chocolate, and earth.

Dark brown pour with a beige head that fades quickly to nothing. Smells like chocolate cake, dark chocolate, and roast. Taste is bitter coffee and some chocolate fudge. Slick texture.
