Draft served in a snifter at the brewpub. Pours a clear, smooth golden color with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of butter, booze, caramel malts, candi sugar, apricot, and peach. Pretty unusual, and the strength of this is evident. Same goes for the flavor, which drops the fruity and buttery notes for some sweet malts, straw, grass, apples, and minerals. Kind of messy. Medium-bodied, with a boozy, bitter mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Interesting beer but not really what I was looking for on a 90-degree day.
