3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Slight earthy and citrus hop aroma as well as a good pale and crystal malt aroma.
Appearance: astounding appearance, nice color (about 18 SRM by my gauge) attributed by crystal malt, very nice head that dissipates at a reasonable pace leaving behind a beautiful lacework no doubt created by the large amounts of hops.
Taste:Front is very bitter and earthy, followed by slight sweet and spicy (maybe a bit of rye) with more body that expected from an IPA, then it dries out, and final is sweet malt husk.
Palate: More body than expect from an IPA, followed by a very dry finish. Very lively carbonation (I am going to use this as a basis for carbonating my next IPA I brew).
Overall: More bitter than the average IPA, which can be a refreshing change but was surprising to this drinker. Very nice sweetness and spiciness that comes in turn to say, "hey bitterness, step down and let me do the talking." For an aggressively hopped IPA, very pleasurable from time to time, not an everyday drinker. Buy a 6-pack if you are having people over for dinner so you can share and this IPA will definitely cut through big and heavy flavors. Pair with hot smoked salmon.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Amber pour with a white head. Aroma is full of bread, perfume, grass and toffee. Flavor is similar with a lot of flower and perfume notes from the hops, as well as some sweet toffee and a little bit of pine. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Love e label and the name, but the brew is very average. Not a bad beer, but nothing about it stands out and there are some major flaws.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2013 Pours murky brownish amber with some bold and brawny foam that wonít fall down. I had to wait to taste it. Citrus hops nose with carmel malt, some floral some apple in the back and medicinal alcohol. The nose is not real big. Taste is both sweet and bitter. Alcohol on the palate and a rubbery taste that I couldnít quite get into. I kept wondering what went wrong? Went down dry but tasted like pencil erasers and didnít fade well. I would pass on this next time.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I agree with others here, this brew is decent, but not great. Lacks hoppy aroma and taste. Drinkable, not one of the worst ipaís Iíve had.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a hazy golden brown with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, slight hops and a tart/sour note. Taste is alcohol, slight hops, a lot of malt and an off/sour note. Really weird, kinda disgusting. I donít like this beer

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours cloudy light orange. A good pungent pale. It has a reasonable (east-coast) hop bite, but this one is definitely well balanced, and shows as a good standard pale. Full flavor, just a bit minerally. Good though.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Its not too bad or good. Just ok. The aroma is weak, hint of grain. Appearance is amber with no head or legs. Palate is minimal hops with a grain wash finish, kind of flat. Overall its just ok
