An amber style ale, originally brewed by George Washington, brewed with fresh roasted pumpkins, malted barley. Cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg are added. Bottled form is brewed under contract by Portland Brewing Co.

Decent taste considering the lack of aroma. The alcohol in this one is fragrant and pungent, and the balance is a bit off. Not enough spices, and the malt is barely there. The best thing about this beer is the taste, though, which is a decent enough point to save it a little teeny bit. I liked the packaging, too.

Average beer. Not a strong pumpkin taste. More cinnamon and cloves than pumpkin

The beer pours an orange color with a small white head. The aroma is grain and cinnamon, with a few other assorted spices thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of nutmeg and cinnamon notes, as well as a hint of cinnamon. Overall, the beer is lacking in the aroma and flavor and doesn’t stand up to the better pumpkin beers. Medium mouthfeel and high carbonation.

Aroma of cinnamon, slight clove and slight bread. Pours murky brown with little film. Taste is tart with baking soda, yeast and slight spice. Sits terribly in the mouth. Not a fan.

This beer definitely pours cloudy and the aroma is lack luster at best. That being said, the flavor is definitely not bad. I don’t think i would buy it again, but I wouldn’t refuse a pint if offered..

Pours hazy dark copper with small head. Good aromas of pumpkin, spice, and bread. Tastes of pumpkin, some spice, and dank bread. Good taste, but moldy bready palate not enjoyable. --- Cheers

Pours orange with minimal head. Good pumpkin aroma and taste. Spices are relatively light.

Poured a slightly orange color. Aroma of pumpkin, but it’s not too sweet. Taste is not too sweet either, but it tastes like fresh pumpkin. Good spices in the flavor. Overall it’s only ok.

Guest review. Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. The aroma has very little spice, but smells like pumpkin with hints of caramel. Clear appearance with a reddish-amber color. Very little head. Taste is a sharp bitterness at the beginning, then sweet with a clean finish. Almost no spice to detect, but plenty of pumpkin. Easy drinking. Almost a pumpkin-session ale.

Bottle. Orange, clear, no head. Strong carbonation, ery light, nutmeg aroma, taste is just okay. Not top pick for this type.
