Smells of pumpkin, spices, rubber and vomit...seriously. Tiny, fizzy head with bubbles filling the glass. Rich, amber color and, at first taste, not so bad. Full, spicy flavor...can definitely taste the pumpkin and pices but the aftertaste is RANK! Like "chewing on a pen" said one friend. Glad I tried it, but ewwwww. Not again.

Not too shabby, but not quite what I expected. Poured from a bottle, quite thin...hazy orange color. Spicy notes, and a crisp, pumpkin flavor finish.

Wonderful pumpkin ale that actually has balance pumpkin spice flavors and bitter ale elements. This is one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had, right up there with DogFish Head.

Pours orange with a short gravelly white head. Aroma is sweet and a bit citrusy. Flavor is of pumpkins and not much else, a little hops come through though. Body is a bit thin and the finish is mild.

I did not enjoy this one. Kind of skunky. It indeed had that cinnamon-pumpkin flavor, but it’s not really my style.
3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Uaru02 (23) - Simpsonville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Decent. Certainly a novelty beer, but worth trying. For flavor, there is a lot going on, it’s full of flavor. Great aroma for Fall time, could be too strong in the heat of Summer. Highly carbonated with absolutely no head. Overall, too spicey to drink more than one or so, but a great conversation beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 BFassburg (23) - El Paso, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2010
It had almost zero head, no lacing and an unappealing aroma of nutmeg and cloves. The flavor is nutmeg, sour, some other spices that were not quite clear and an astringent aftertaste. Mouth feel is not great-a bit heavy and dry. I would not drink this again.

Another Ale that is better at the pub than in the bottle. If you like pumpkin pie, then this is for you.

What happens when you drink Bass ale while eating pumpkin pie? This beer.
