3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Happy Halloween! Thin head, even after a straight, quick pour. Aromas of spice and orange, plus the obvious. More spice than pumpkin flavor, and less body than a slice of punkiní pie. Not bad, but itís good for only one and only between Halloween and Thanksgiving....

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very light bodied, not sweet at all. A dry, nutmeg and cinnamon-flavored nose. The taste here is almost entirely derived from the smell, itís almost like drinking heavily scented seltzer water. Not quite what I was expecting.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A rather curious tasting ale that I picked up over the haloween season. Unfortunately its only worth is for kitschy purposes. It smelled and tasted mostly of nutmeg. That was good smell-wise, but not good taste-wise.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Incredibly tempting aroma. Great taste, with flourish of pumpkin, cinnamon and other spices thatís not too sweet. Surprisingly thirst-quenching. However, the palate is a little disappointing, fading away to simple ale too quickly. Still, a nice autumn change of pace.

1.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bitter smelling, loose head, opaque. Not impressed at all, actually disappointed. Iíve tasted less bitter ESBís. No significant or nor dominant flavors, whatever is there is overpowered by the bitter water-down taste.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove with a touch of malt. Pretty light in style, I almost wish there was a bit more to this. On the palate I get a bit of malt and then follows the pumpkin. This seems like a good foundation but there could be so much more. There are better pumpkin beers out there.

I noticed this at the store around Christmas time, then picked it up in March when I saw it on clearance. This is definitely a seasonal beer, and in March seems about as appropriate as Nat King Cole singing O Holy Night. While most winter beers are still beers, and really could be enjoyed any time of year, this pumpkin pie-flavored beer is a holiday novelty.

The pumpkin aroma is unmistakable, the flavor falls just short of how good this smells.
