Poures from a bottle. Very dark almost black color. Very thick head. The aroma was dominated by blueberry, the taste was also very sweet.

Dark brown almost black with a thin beige head. Blueberry dominates the aroma. Overly sweet taste with noticable blueberry flavor. Needs to be a little dryer but the blueberrys will contribute to the sweetness and probable a lot of those sugars were not fermented out. Sticky sweet filling finish.

Poured nice, with a good head. Good deep color. Taste was overly sweet. Too sweet. Not as silky as I like my Oatmeal stout. Sorry subjective. Would think this beer would be awesome for breakfast with blueberry pancakes though. Thats it for me though.

Disappointing oatmeal stout. Too sweet. Although I’m up for trying new beers this one was not for my taste. Oatmeal stouts to me go better with coffee and chocolate and vanilla flavors. The blueberries provided a little too much sweetness that the bitterness of the stout just couldn’t back up. Thick head and a beer that must be pour slow esp if not fully chilled. Contained the thick palate of a stout. Wouldn’t buy again but was glad to try it.

12oz bottle. Pours well with a lasting foam and slowly precipitating lacing. Medium to thin body which is unusual and disappointing for an oatmeal stout. Overall flavors are on the weak side resulting in a disappointing tasting and appreciation.

Comes out looking and smelling like a blueberry. But somewhere back in the mouthfeel is the grittiness of a stout. And the depth. But I prefer my oatmeal stout without blueberries in it.

Poured black with a thin off-white head. Aroma has lots of blueberries but also chocolate. Taste has a decent amount of flavor with chocolate and blueberries dominating. Some interesting yeast flavors. The alcohol makes this a little bit more harsh than I was expecting for something with blueberries. Not as sweet as I expected, a little tart. The taste transitions towards milk chocolate. Aftertaste is a little creamy with blueberries. Finally in the aftertaste I get the oatmeal as well. Overall this isn’t bad, it’s definitely unique.

Bottle. Just as advertised; an oatmeal stout that tastes like blueberries. The scent was an overpowering blueberry that settled into an underbelly of stouty malt aroma. The appearance was a decent stout black with minimal head drifting into a white ring. Thick palate with a crisp texture. The taste hit hard up front with the sweet/sour of the blueberries, found an almost stale oatmeal middle, and finished with the sour of the berries. I didn’t pick up any of the advertised chocolate notes, but I agree with the sentiment on the neck of the bottle. This would be a great breakfast treat!

Poured from a bottle into a snifter. Appearance is dark brown with respectable khaki colored head. Aroma is chocolate, toasty malt, light blueberry presence. Taste is toasty, chocolatey, and sweet with the blueberries coming through nicely. They aren’t synthetically sweet, which I think is what makes the beer nice. I don’t think I would want more than one bottle at any given time, but it’s definitely an enjoyable beer to sip on.

The blueberries aren’t overpowering which is nice. Mild floral hops and the typical oatmeal stout smoothness. Hints of chocolate. Pretty good.
