Bottle pour. Dark brown with a large foamy tan head with good lacing. Coffee and blueberry aroma. Medium creamy body. Coffee flavor with a hint of blueberry. Not a big fan of anything that taste like coffee, so it got a lower rating than from someone who would enjoy the taste.

"blueberry barely evident in the aroma. a little more in the taste, but more of a general sweetness that hints at blueberry. til you burp. the burps are all blueberry. the flavor is chocolatey, with roasted malt and a surprisingly decent amount of hops. body is tad thin but not bad. this is by no means a great beer, but dare i say it...underated? brewed by pyramid in WA for Buffalo Bills in Hayward."

Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of blueberries, malt and pepper. Light sweetness, soft carbonation, medium body, much better than expected.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding and sticking at various times throughout the consuming of this beer. The smell had a roasty sort of light chocolate quality with the blueberry in the background. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. It seemed appropriately carbonated for the style and for me. There’s no aftertaste whatsoever, but it does have a dry finish. Overall, good beer I could see myself having almost every Spring.

This was definitely more of a fruit beer than a stout. Blueberry basically punches you in the face when you smell it. Unfortunately, it covers everything else. It is a good looking beer with a dark chocolate color and tan foamy head. The palate was average weight and creamy like an oatmeal stout. Flavor was again blueberry with a small amount of dark malts and oatmeal. Interesting blend but too one-sided.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a minimal head. Aroma of cocoa, blueberry, smarties candy. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Light sweetness. Slight tartness. Not bad.

Appearance: The beer pours a chestnut, in the glass it appears a deep and murky garnet only through lots of light. The head is short and dense with a light tan hue. Nice looking beer.
Aroma: The aroma isn’t very complex, it’s strong of blueberries, not similar to blueberries, a lot of blueberries. They come off a little astringent. There’s a mild chocolate aroma, but blueberry dominates.
Taste: Mild chocolate and blueberry throughout, great blueberry flavor with a very slight roast towards the end. Not bad, but not enough base.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is close to being pretty excellent. The beer needs a bigger base instead of having a huge blueberry flavor. Find that balance and this will be great. Great price and worth trying.
