Not impressed. May be that it was brewed/bottled in Ukiah, not Hayward where the pub is.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
From a bottle. Pours dark nut brown with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like stale old blueberries and stale grains. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like old stale musky grains.

Very good stout. I had this @ old mill stream inn in St. Charles, MO taste was complex and satisfying. Not cloying and overall a great beer.

Buffalo bill? Thought he was dead. Didn’t take him as a man of fruit and oatmeals. But the times, they are a changin. Smells like blueberry pancake. Taste is chocolate blueberry cake. Pan cake. Not as terrible as the rating would indicate, but not good by any means.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 A decent stout. The non heavy style hides the higher abv well. Tiny blueberry tastes. Would never have guessed it if it wasn?t on the bottle.

Pours a deep brown with purple hints, slight head which disappears in an instant.....aroma of roasted blueberry.....taste is malt, a bit thin, slightly toasted hint, coffee, a very little blueberry, metallic aftertaste. OK, one is enough.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour, deep black with reddish tones, nice cream head with light lacing. Rich malty aroma with chocolate and blueberry, flavor is roasted bitter with (fake) blueberry syrup. Smooth mouthfeel (oats), quick bitter finish. Decent but not great oatmeal stout -- not nearly as good as my "Blueberry Woods" oatmeal milk stout homebrew recipe!!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle purchased and consumed in FL.
For a beer of this style and origin, one might reasonably fear it would have too much blueberry flavor or be too sweet. Neither is the case. Instead we have fairly well balanced ale with a blueberry note that is closer to subtle than to overpowering. Lightly swet up front; mildly bitter in the lasting aftertaste where there’s also a nice showing of natural blueberry flavor.
Medium+ carbonation is a bit high for style but smooth and creamy nonetheless.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a rather dark brown color with a fairly thick light tan head on there. Nose is dominated by the blueberries, but in a light way, and has just a hint of some roasting underneath. Taste is quite fruity with a lot of blueberry, as well as a bit of roasting coming through. I’d like less fruit, but it’s still decent.
