On tap @ the brewery. Great, rich oatmeal nose with good complexity. Flavor was full, with chocolate and malt, with a very smooth mouthfeel. Very nice brew.

This stout had a lot going on. Great rich thick body and awesome chocolate coffee flavors. Awesome stout.

On tap @ Buffalo Bills poured a clear dark reddish black with a small dissapating tan head. Aromas of coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla and a hint of smoke. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, milk chocolate, a hint of coffee and some roastiness with a smooth lightly bitter finish.

On tap- Poured pitch black with a thin head. Far too carbonated, in my opinion. Judging by the other ratings, maybe they just had the CO2 screwed when they kegged. The oatmeal flavors where great but unfortunately, that’s all this beer had. A good stout for people who don’t like stouts.

very good example of this style. Most of the local brewpubs are hop-mad, and this was o good find. Pours a dark black, little carbonation. The aroma is roasted coffe and barley malts. The taste is smooth, balanced, and not at all overpowering. This is the kind of stout that you can sit and sip 4 or 5 pints of very easily.
