4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
If ever there could be a beer based on orange flavor, this is it. Rich smell of orange upon the poor.... sticks around for the duration of the drink too. Accompanying the orange aroma is a hint of bready hay, still reminding you that it is a beer and not soda pop. Poors a crystal clear golden hay-yellow, with about an inch-worth of head that settles rather quickly. The taste is very well balanced!! A light sweetness that complements the aroma beautifully! Has a floral orange taste that is a light topping on the wheat-base of the beer. Very light body (much like the white-bread version of beer budweiser) with a thin texture. Carbonation is fizzy, mimicking the orange soda pop that this beer could almost be mistaken for. The long, smooth finish is every bit as pleasant as the rest of the experience. Good ending to a good beer. I don’t care what the rest of you say, this is a cream ale diserving of more than a 20 overall rating.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Sickeningly sweet orange aroma that reeks of medicine and over the top florals. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Light to medium body. Not really very creamy. Not a very well-balanced beer.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Interesting tidbit to start, the bottle was threaded but the cap was not...interesting. Here’s the rest.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance looked fine. Hazy burnt orange color with a big foamy white and bubbly head. Once it dissipated, there’s no lacing.
The smell had the orange and some off-soapy / wants-to-be cream-colored aroma.
The taste was sweet through the orange. Soapiness becomes stronger and makes the beer harder to put down. Soapy aftertaste with no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed appropriately styled and it didn’t seem bad to me.
Overall, the palate was the best thing about it but normally I don’t go after beers just how they feel on the palate, so I will most likely not have this again.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours yellow with very small white head that dissolved instantly. Fruit, floral and grain aroma. Cream, orange, floral, honey and diacetyl flavors. Light body and moderate carbonation. Floral finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle. Short lived bubbly head, sadly no lacing. Aroma is orange all right, but the lack of creaminess (as expected with no lacing) made this a disappointment. Medicinal taste, more like syrup than creamsickle.

"i like the honey ok, otherwise this is just another thin, boring beer. heavy on the flavoring, low on the complexity. not exciting at all, but not much was expected."

1.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours light orange with white head. Aroma smells like orange cough syrup, sweet, very sweet oranges. Taste is crisp, very orange, bitter backbone, really really gross.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma right up front is citrus /oranges. Disappointed that is does not have a substantial cream ale body or mouth feel. Light airy head, oranges dominate aroma and taste. A good summer beer, easy to drink and refreshing, but lacks most of the true cream ale characteristics.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
pours slightly hazy veru light golden with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. bursting orange blossom water aroma - not really soothing - akin to some floor cleaners, some candied citrus peel, cream ale as in orange and cream-flavored things, dust-covered orange-flavored candies, bitter and lightly astringent herbs and grass, watered down yet sweetish pale malted bill. moderately low carbonation, light body - oily, very lightl astringent, semi-sweet and kind of bland herbal-grassy short finish. blah.

Aroma is a nice orange and citrus. Flavor is orange with a touch of "green" bitterness from the blossom. Overall not a terrible beer.

12oz bottle on the balcony of my daughters place in Newport Beach CA on 7th July 2014. Cloudy light orange/tangerine with a thin white head. Oranges rule the aroma and taste (what a surprise). I thought it over sweetened with a barely sugar and honey feel to the overall taste and feel. Not my cup of tea, but I can see some people taking to it.
