pinkzambia (881), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 18, 2007 Tap: Clear copper/red color with not much head. It has kind of a funky hop aroma as well as taste. The aftertaste is tinny and the whole flavor and aftertaste hang out for a while in the back of you throat. I liked that part. Odeed (1480), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 22, 2007 (on tap @ the brewpub)red body with a white head.small caramel malts in the aroma and flavor.mouthfeel was watery. ratman197 (2260), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 21, 2006 On tap @ Buffalo Bills poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, carmel, toffee and light citrus. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, carmel and a hint of orange with a smooth finish. Lubiere (3231), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dec 12, 2004 Tap. German hooped style ale, hazy reddish copper cloured. The hops became floral, yet restrained in the end. Good balnced body.(June 2004). jazz88 (2205), San Francisco, California, USA Mar 5, 2003 Tap. The brewery called this a California Red Ale. Dark golden color with a tan head. The malts are richer and the body is fuller in this beer than the amber. Some hint of caramel.
