Poured up on tap at Buffalo Bill’s with clear copper body and gold edges supporting up an off white head and leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a little spicy with hops as well as some floral hops too. The taste is similar with a mix of spicy to floral hoppiness followed by a modest amount of vague hop bitterness.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Malt and light spice aroma with light grapefruit. Pine and grapefruit flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine lingerswith malt and light spice.

Great appeance and nice head. I jsut don’t like the choice of hops. Seems a little harsh to me and for the price not worth it.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Malt and wet grain aroma. Nice silky palate but rather disappointing taste of bland malts followed by a satisfying whole grain bread finish.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/7/10. Pours a clear gold with a medium off-white head. Aroma is cascade hop and a bit of malt, but mostly non-descript. Decent hop and malt balance in the flavor, but the hops don’t have much character. Not a bad beer, but kinda boring.

Pours gold with a thin off white head. The aroma is nondescript with some mild notes of fruity hops and toffee. The flavor is the same with a strong alcohol presence considering the ABV. Tasty, but a lackluster finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a minimal white head. Aroma is mild hops fruity. Bitter, dry hoppy and light roasted malt flavoured. Dry toffee like note from the malt. Bitter and mild fruity finish.

11th October 2008. GABF. Hazy gold beer. Champagne dry but the hops are tepid and apologetic. Nothing special!

Draft at the brewpub! Clear gold with a small glass lacing off white head. Nose is floral hops light pine, and caramel. Flavor was lightly bitter with white pepperiness.

Strong malty aroma and flavor are what define this brew. Good notes of carmel and a nice sweetness. Not bad.
