(draught) older notes - deep amber with some floral hops. Decent caramel malt. A perfectly OK English style pale ale. But why do they serve it in frozen glasses??

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2011 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that diminishes to an outer ring quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Equally hoppy and malty nose. Medium body with flavors of biscuity malt, hops and fruit. The finish is malty with a toasted bread aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the brewpub. I got the bottom of this batch so it was half foam. My brother in law got the next to last glass and his had a one finger tan head. Dark reddish brown. Aroma and flavor were understated. Toasty caramel with soft floral hops. A bit of breadiness. Mild bitterness. Not a complex beer by any stretch. The hop profile was quite soft, even gentle.
