Draft pint at the brewpub. Dark golden with quite the attractive carbonation ... but the head doesn’t seem to retain well as their red. The aroma is slightly biscuity. This certainly presents a bit of grainy mustiness, but it also brings a fruity twist. Fully flavored, yet "everyday". (#3366, 3/31/2008)

Draft in a tumber at the brewery. BG pours golden with a small head. The nose is pretty much non-existant. Wow! This ale has a nice flavor. It is chewy, grainy full of biscuit flavor. The finish is clean. This is a great drinking beer and a definite surprise for the house ale.

The body was a deep lightly hazy gold. A light white head on top. The aroma was socks with some cantaloupe. The taste was more cantaloupe with some grainy notes. A little bit of green wood.

Tasted 4/10/08. Sampler from the brewpub. Slightly hazy with a golden hue. Cereal and soggy malt aromas. Light and crisp. Touch sugary. Nice yeast character. Mild effervescence and slightly tart. Tasty and session.

Pours yellow / gold with a white head. The aroma is musty and malty with light spice and comes off fairly clean. Medium body, but not nearly has crisp as normal for the style. Starts off malty with some creaminess and some hop spice. The finish has a milky aspect that doesn’t work for me. This is decent overall, but its not doing a whole lot for me.

Enjoyed from a sampler. A golden beer with little head or carbonation. Aroma and flavor is faint malt and grain. My wifes favorite of the sampler.

Golden yellow pour with a tiny white bubbly head. Musty, had a nose like a loaf of bread that had been left out on the table for a few days. Clean on the palate, with a sweet maltiness and some herbal hop bitterness.

On tap at Buffalo Brewing Co. Semi hazy golden yellow with next to no head. Aroma of malt, grain and mild fruit Taste of fruit, sweet malt and light hops. Lively body leads to a clean and dry finish.
