COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed as their Fall Seasonal, this Oktoberfest is sure to please even the fussiest of Germans. We use a base of almost entirely Munich Malt to give this beer its traditional malty German Character. This beer starts with a complex malt character that slowly fades and dries to a truly wonderful hop finish. We use only the finest hops to balance the wonderful malt character. We also age this brew much longer than most to allow all the flavors to meld to this wonderful Oktoberfest. Brewed with Munich, Pale Ale and Black Malt with Magnum, Saaz and Styrian Golding Hops. Original Gravity 1.058.

(draft @ 2006 Autumn Festival of Ales - Honeoye Falls, NY) Copper in color with a thin white head. Aroma is malty with some light sweetness. Flavor is semi-sweet with a nice malt backbone and some slight bitterness at the end. A little watery.

Copper body. Nose is rich & malty, a hint of chocolate. Flavor is caramel malt, a little nut/hop in the finish.

Slightly sweet, toasty malt aroma. Copper/orange color. Similar flavor. Decent O-fest.

The 2002 is a vintage year -- perhaps a little more hops in the aroma, but other than that, an excellent Wies’n. Better than years previous, which were good.
