2010 Autumn Festival of Ales. Pours to a clear golden color with an off-white head. Not much aroma from this beer, only a slight rye scent. Tastes pretty bland with a small amount of sweetness and rye. Did not notice the hops.

Draft at Buffalo Tap Room. Pours gold with a white head. Malty aroma with a light spicy rye note. The flavor has rye and sweet malts, as well as a hint of buttered popcorn. Not awful.

Sample at Autumn Festival of Ales - The find of the day, orange peel and spice, multipler layers to the flavor. Stayed with you. Really nice.

Draft. Golden body, nice fairly dense white head, sweet nose. Watery, bland, somewhat sweet.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2007 Hazy gold color with a white head. Sweet citric and wheaty in aroma and flavor. I’m not detecting the rye. Not bad though.

A pretty refreshing brew. Cloudy golden color with a lasting white head and good lacing. It is somewhat sweet with just a bit of tartness in the finish and very low bitterness. Good summer brew.

Filtered or not to be filtered that is the question. Hoppiness and rye predominate with sweetness.

Tap: Had this a few weeks ago at Custom Brewcrafters (they change 2-3 beers every week or so there). As others have mentioned, this beer doesn’t really appear to be unfiltered. Pours to a clear golden color with an off-white head. Not much aroma from this beer, only a slight grains/rye scent. Tastes pretty bland with a small amount of sweetness and rye on the tongue. Couldn’t detect any hops in this one. While this would be very easy to drink in quantity on a hot day, this is not a beer to pick for flavor.

draft beer...looks like they may have read Oakes' and IPFreely's ratings since this now looks like an unfiltered beer. Hazy blonde pour with medium head. Not much for taste, minimal aroma, mostly malt. Only taste is grainy maltiness, pretty unimpressive. poorly done.

If this is unfiltered, I'd hate to see what filtered means. This had not a trace of yeast in it. Deep golden colour. A bland ale with notes of rye in both the aroma and palate. That was, alas, the only thing which punctuated the blandness. Not much bitterness nor other hop character, and aside from the rye malt, not much malt character either. An American-style rye to be sure.
