500ml bottle. Slighty unclear golden orange with a difficult to rouse fine later of mostly lasting carbonation. Some stale honeyish sweetness on the nose. Some orange too coming through on the swirl. Things are a bit muddled and distant though. Bit of homebrew kit hop on the tongue with sweet biscuity malt, orange and hints of grain. Perhaps not the best bottle conditioning. Soft and somewhat lifeless with the merest hint of carbonation. Finishes with a short and moderately dry hop bitterness. I’m not knowledgeable about the US hops used but there’s no typical US hop influence. Has promise & I’d imagine it’d better on cask though I’m not sure it’s bottled well.

Cask conditioned handpump Royal Blenheim Oxford. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. A really good hoppy beer. Nice oranges and lemons. Good and tasty in the mouth. The hops really work and the malt backbone is good. A well brewed tasty beer, and what’s more it was free of charge being the last half from the barrel. There were no signs whatsoever though of any potential deterioration.

Cask at the Market Porter. Pale amber golden beer. Lightly fruity. Apricot/peach yeastiness over a sweet pale biscuity maltiness. Some light spicy hops and a kiss of fruit and light hoppiness. Faint spiciness. It’s decent but not all that compelling.

Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Corn syrup, lager malts, you can actually taste corn on the cab, but not in a good way. The most cornish beer ever!
