[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although itís long time Iíve tasted these brewdrops I remember it as a great old flamish brew with notes of freshfruity woodbeeries, sourness and dust, celler and vinegar. Great Beer!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009) - shared with mjs - thanks!
Clear reddy brown, small tight head. Lovely fruity and woody sharp sour aroma, very clean. Taste slightly acidic, a touch crotchy, and slight rubberiness. Palate tingly and sharp - very nice. Finish loses the sourness quickly, and fades to lovely sweet mellow malts.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottled) Clear darkish brown with a small, firm head. Tart aroma with some dark fruitiness, and not much else to grab on. Vinous, tart and fruity flavor with some sour cherries. Light to medium body, foamy carbonation. Some sticky-sugary feel. Why the hell is this sweetened with saccharine?

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009]
2007 vintage, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk
Pours lightly hazy orange-yellow with a very impressive, creamy, white head. Great duration and it leaves wonderful laces on my glass. Aroma is mildly tart, oranges, brett, sweet malts. Medium carbonation, super, slightly frothy mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully balanced between malty sweetness and fruity tartness. Good notes of peach, oranges and dry notes from brett. Really the star of the tasting.
