Aromas of dark fruit, burnt carmel, candi sugar and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of burnt carmel, figs, dates and spice with a smooth dry malty finish. waolsen (917), Littleton, Colorado, USA Apr 30, 2008 tap at brewery. mahogony pour with thin tan head. roasted malts, beligum style yeast, coffee, choco aroma. taste much the same with spice and banana. nice malting. a bit heavy.
