Very dark brown pour, brown head. Roasty and dry, hints of chocolate, espresso. Has a nice mouthfeel but its a bit too dry and roasty for my tastes.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark opaque body under a tan head.
Light roast malt aroma.
Roasty nutty flavor, some coffee, dry finish.
This was an easy drinking stout, not too fancy but it had sufficient mouthfeel and flavor to be the best of what I sampled at the brewhaus that evening.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a small light tan head. Aroma is very chocolatey, also some roasted and sweet malts. Flavor is less chocolatey with more roasted notes and especially charred malt. A pretty good stout overall.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Almost pitch black, hold this one up to the light and it shows some reddish brown highlights. Sporting a thick viscous tan head, the aroma is one dimensional, pouring forth thick burnt black coffee redolence. Starts thick and oily and fades quickly into a dry and charred malt finish.
