Commercial Description:
This is Bull & Bones version of the classic California style pale ale. Beautiful amber in color with an abundance of premium Centennial hops that lend a distinctive spicy flavor and fragrant bouquet. Lunch Pail Defense and Bud Foster approved.

on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is easy citrus, some light malt. Taste is citrus/pine with a slight bite, secondary sweet light malt-caramel. Dryish finish.

This was enjoyed at lunch with my family. I will be back to taste more of their beers. The food also was excellent. Try the crab bisque. The pale ale was similar to their IPA. I thought it might be a little better for what its goal is to accomplish. The bitterness was smooth without the citrus flavors,

Draft: Weak hoppy aroma of grapefruit. Clear amber, good lace. Tastes weakly of grapefruit and cherries. As with all the other Bull and Bones beers I’ve tried so far, it tastes good, but lacks strength.

Horrible name for this one. Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a copper tinted gold color with a medium head. Decent head retention and good lacing. Aroma is earthy, citrus hops with some toffeeish malt notes. Taste is bitter citrus hops with toffee and green apple. Medium bodied.

A nice attempt at tasty. On tap pours orange-amber with a diminished head that leaves trace lace. Some malt and metallic notes in the nose. These transfer directly into the flavor dept., with a nice bitter to accompany mid-pull that closes the finish. Almost reminiscent of an ESB, but does have just enough body to account for an APA. Just misses the mark on being complex and tasty, but a decent palate cleanser and a nice rating.

Amber, not much body, slight haze, reasonable flavor if you are looking for a watered down APA.

Draugh at the brewhaus, #443. Copper pour, small head, no lacing. Kinda weird aroma, not sure what it is. Earthy flavor, not much hop. Fairly disappointing.
