On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of sweet toasted malt, cocoa, carmel and toffee. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of toasted malt, light cocoa and a hint of nuttiness with a smooth malty finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was quite yummy, with a really strong chocolately malt ball flavor like you used to get in the movies. Rich and lightly roasted, with a medium bodied mouthfeel, and a tasty bit of nuttiness and toffee in the finish. Highly enjoyable

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught. Wonderful roasted malt and chocolate aroma, with hints of fudge and fruits. Flavor is rich, malt accented, and a bit unorthodox for a Brown ale, considering it had significant roast and burnt malt flavors. Very rich in body as well. Bull & Bush has impressed me thusfar. I should visit the brewery soon.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thin minimal head. Medium tan color. Light buttery aroma. Taste is buttery, toffee. Lots of roasted malt, nuttiness. Finish has this tinge of burnt malt, which fits very nicely. Good stuff.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(draught) Dark-deep brown, no head. Nose of molasses, bit nutty - and I get some parsley again. There's hops there too. Taste is soft-sweet, nearly neutral taste. OK for a brown ale or a mild, but not exhilarating. Well-bodied, not thick. some sticky mouthfeel (molasses again?). Brown ale is not really my style, I suppose. This one is not really bad, but I can't go wacko over it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, dark chocolate, mild coffee). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Roastier and darker than most American brown ales.
