This British-style IPA features citrus-filled aromas and a very malty foundation that marries nicely with the bold hop notes that emerge on the palate and ultimately dominate its lingering finish.

Man beer you say?? ..well let me put down my shotgun and beard and try this ... Deep amber .. Flowers, citrus and sugared grapefruit .,. Solid refreshing mouth feel .. . Pretty good beer .. . . Why disinfect the entire table when you can just spray bleach on the baby?

Bottle through trade, hazy dark amber pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus and some mineral qualities. Taste of some light citrus, malt and an ok bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 26 fl oz bottle. Nice looking medium copper amber pour with a lingering off-white head. Moderate aroma of earthy hops and caramel malts. The body is a bit better than medium. Quick upfront sweetness followed by a bolder hop finish. Vague grapefruit. A decent IPA.

On tap at the brewery and from growler at home. Poured in a Chimay chalice. Pours amber with modest head and lace. Aroma of straw and floral hops, slight minerals. Moderate carbonation and penetrating mouthfeel. Flavors of bitter straw hops, grapefruit rind, lemon mist, guava extract, white and black pepper, slight malt sweetness. There’s a bitterness that penetrates the tongue. Overall big and tasty with strong bitter hops. It’s not my preferred profile of hops, but I respect this enough to get a growler now and again.

Dark amber brown with pretty slow fading head. Nice hop and slightly caramel nose. First sip is more ESB like...malty with slightly spicy and light orange citrus finish. Disjointed though. Okay.

Poor appearance. Hoppy pine profile starts, continues to the end. Nicely balanced, lacks the hop resin I typically expect from a profile such as this. Pretty nice overall.

(16.9oz bottle thanks to Errl) clear medium amber, fine offwhite bubbles. Nose is stinky, burnt, perm chemicals, sweet and hoppy, just smells like burnt hair. Taste of umami, bitter citrus peel, syrupy, tastes like burnt hair might smell.

At Savor NYC 2013. The aroma is citrus, caramel, toffee. The appearance is orange/gold, white head. The flavor is citrus, caramel, toffee again. The finish is citrus, grapoefruit. Too hoppy for a true English IPA, but less hoppy than the typical American IPA. Nicely done.
