COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This British-style IPA features citrus-filled aromas and a very malty foundation that marries nicely with the bold hop notes that emerge on the palate and ultimately dominate its lingering finish.

Amber pour. Very big chewy resinous hop palate. Dry and tooth strippingly resinous. Lingering chewy earthiness. Very different from their regular IPA… tastes like sucking pine cones.

At Savor NYC 2013. The aroma is citrus, caramel, toffee. The appearance is orange/gold, white head. The flavor is citrus, caramel, toffee again. The finish is citrus, grapoefruit. Too hoppy for a true English IPA, but less hoppy than the typical American IPA. Nicely done.

Man beer you say?? ..well let me put down my shotgun and beard and try this ... Deep amber .. Flowers, citrus and sugared grapefruit .,. Solid refreshing mouth feel .. . Pretty good beer .. . . Why disinfect the entire table when you can just spray bleach on the baby?

Bottle poured into an IPA glass. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and citrus. Pours opaque amber colored with a big, soapy white head with very little lacing. Starts with caramel sweetness with a bit of citrus to balance out the sweet. Finishes like you'd expect an IPA to finish. Dry with a large amount of hop bitterness that lingers on the palate long after. Nice, well balanced ipa.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy brown beer. Full on hops but not overwhelming and nicely balanced crisp malt.

growler. Pours a dark mahogany red color with nice sustaining off white head. Aroma of resiny, nectary, with big caramel, molasses malty notes as well. Medium to full bodied, quite creamy and a bit chewy. They describe it as an english IPA, and the flavor is definitely balanced, but there is a ton of hop presence, don’t be fooled. Low carbonation for the style, plenty of caramel and biscuit, a hint of toffee, and sweet, necary / resiny hops on the finish, with a lasting bitterness. Quite nice, very enjoyable.

Tap at brewpub, the pour is a dark brown, the smell is very hoppy, the taste is a very earthy hop and over the bitterness is just about right, really quite good, the description was an english IPA, so I wasnt expecting as much hop. But this was a pretty decent offering

On tap at the brewpub - strong entry into the IPA category, aromas are subdued, slightly english style on this one.

Malty floral ish hop aroma. Taste is of slightly roasted malt and nicely balanced with hops, mix of floral and slight pine. Bitter finish. Not overly hoppy or malty. Well balanced and an enjoyable ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
