Clear dark golden orangeish with a small white head. Amazing saison aroma of apple, earthy cinnamon funk, light citrus, light hay, and a touch of candy sweetness. One of the best tasting saisons I can recall. Citrus, coriander, light seed grain, a touch of cinnamon-apple, a not-too-funky barnyard funk, with a refreshing finish of grains and grassy hops. Finish reminiscent of a good blonde ale. Light-medium body, but with a very full and rounded flavor profile. Addictive to sip.

On tap @ Bull and Bush poured a hazy copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, spices, apple and a hint of brown sugar. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of light carmel, spices, faint bit of mint, with a crisp, lingering semi-sweet finish.

Wow. This was delicious. Soft aroma, that turns vicious, lots of rich spices, intermingled with hints of baked fruits and cinnamon. Flavor is light to medium bodied, with a nice mellow acidity, that really manges to keep your palate interested wondering what flavors will come out on the next sip. Caramel and toffee, with a rich bit of eucalyptus, peppermint and bit of spicy hops to round out the profile. Fineshes a little warm and sweet with the alcohol showing through with a strong lingering finish. Good stuff!

Draft at GABF. Pours a deep orange with a head that loves me. Nose is spicy, citrus forward with some cardamom and a hint of coriander. Tartness evident in the nose. On tasting, the tartness is super refreshing, the body stays mid-light and crisp. Nice hop component and a citrusy tartness that is really great. Really nice beer.

Draught at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a small fizzy light brown head, somewhat lasting, good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, cookie, straw), average hops (grass), average yeast (leaves) with notes of clove, brown sugar and nutmeg. Light bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness; nice spiced earthy yeast and straw malt flavor.

Tap at the brewpub September 2012-pours lightly hazy yellow with a small fizzy white head. nose is spicy GOP ginger pepper. usually i dont like spicy saisons, but this one smells pretty good. flvors are very medicinal from all the spices some plastic and band aid notes sweaty sock in there as well. wow onslaught of spice long into the finish. lingers for a long ass time! A very decent spiced saison, which i usually hate, but this was pretty well done!

On tap at the brewpub. Pour is slightly hazy yellow with a frothy white head and great lacing. Yeasty, grassy, clove, slightly citrusy, biscuity, and peppery aroma. Taste is big pepper, yeast, coriander, basil, lemons, somewhat metallic, and goopy with a pretty hoppy bitter bite on the backend. Medium body with high carbonation. Ok.

On tap at the brewpub this was served in a chalice and was a amber-red color. The smell was faint but a little spicy. The taste was minty and leathery which I did not care for. This was not one of the better Saisons I have had. Oh well, it was worth a try. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 06-18-2007 16:30:39

tap at bull&bush. 7% alcohol. Pours a hazy orange gradient with small white to no head. Flowery, herbal aroma, some lavender, sage, spicy wheat. Medium bodied and pretty refreshing. Flavor of spiced wheat with floral aspects, lavender on a lingering finish, slight tartness. Pretty nice.

Tap @ brewery. Yellowish golden appearance with a small white head. Property, light banana, orange, citrusy, a bit zesty aroma. Fairly well carbonated with prickly bubbles. Somewhat spicy, peppery yeasty, lemon, lightly bready flavor.
