pours brown gold with minimal head. caramel bubblegum nose with grapefruit hop nose. overly sweet, almost butterscotch with the expected buttery note i get from most of the beers here. sharp grapefruit shows up at fiorst taste and then is overcome by the toast and candy. went alright with my chicken and waffles.

Tap at the brewpub - a fairly straightforward APA - heavy on the grapefruit flavors, especially in the finish, which has grapefruit pith hanging around on the tongue for quite some time - before that, though, there is a bready malt profile, a hint of diacetyl (which is just mild enough to work, but also makes this tastes a little more british than anything), and some mild caramel - a touch of acidity accompanies the bitterness, which compliments the citrus character - a decent pale.

On tap at Bull and Bush poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of orange, pink grapefruit, light pine and light carmel. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of pink grapefruit, orange zest, light pine and light carmel with a dry crisp lingering bitter finish.

On tap at the Bull and Bush. Golden yellow color. Smells kind of bland with a hint of hops. The flavor starts out with a buttery aspect that really disappointed me but after I let it warm it up it was unnoticeable and the flavor became more fruity and reminiscent of all the other Bull and Bush pale ales and IPA’s, I wonder if the yeast is the common factor? This beer also had a nice bitterness to it.
