COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This straw-colored Golden beer is capped with a pillowy white had and is light on the tongue. Fruit flows into he flavor with more peach and citrus. Low hop levels give this beer a light and delicate finish. We recommend this brew to those just venturing into craft beer or anyone looking for a refreshing thirst quencher. Durham’s Bryant Bridge crosses over Rt. 147 and is the one lighted with blue LED lights at night. It is the gateway to the Bull City and this is our gateway to drinking craft beer. This ale is available year round. HOPS USED: Goldings, Willamette

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel and grainy malts. The taste is grainy malts with some toastiness, grassy and raisin-like fruit notes. Medium bodied.

Pale yellow in color... Aroma is sweet and light.... Flavor is fairly watery, notes of light malts and cream... Kind of unexciting

On tap at the brewery, Durham. I expect fairly little from this style in general, but this joint delivers a fairly well rendered and crisp example of the style. Light and fruity hops in the nose, but more heft and dry character in the flavors. Still bright, both in hue and affect and it’s quite sessionable.

A wonderful fruity take on a golden ale. Pours crystal clear golden with a small but resilient white head. Nice lacing. Aroma shows pineapple, peach and wheaty grain notes. Flavor is grainy with a fruity hop profile. Juicy. Finish is lightly dry and balanced.

Ok beer. A lot of wheat punch right off the start with a liitle flower and citrius finish.

Clean straw yellow pour with one finger of white head. Grassy with a nice citrusy character, some bread and wet hay. Medium body with a light carbonation.

Draft from brewery. Pours golden with thin white head. Grassy light hops, mild sweet malts. Touch of honey and bread. Nothing more to say. Unobtrusive and great with food.

Draft at the brewery. This is exactly what it’s meant to be: the non-craft beer drinkers gateway beer, the beer for when you don’t want to think about beer, the one to order when you’re hot and just want to quench your thirst. It’s clean, refreshing, light, and has just the right amount of crisp hops to finish it off. Not my style, but excellent for what it is.

Yellow pour with large white head which slowly dissipated. Aroma of grassy hops and a hint of citrus. Flavor was more hops and some sweetness. Decent version of the style.
