COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from the second runnings of BCBBs upcoming Barleywine, Yongen Horny, to be released in January 2012. Littlen is pale in color, light bodied, moderately hopped, and a delicious session ale.

Pours clear golden with a small white head. Nice fruity hop aroma and flavor. Good pairing with a fish dish and mango salsa. Balanced and sessionable.

Draft at brewery. Light straw color, clear with a very minimal white head. The flavors are all very mild with some toast, caramel, and mild hopping. Quick, clean finish. While perfectly easy to drink, its not a beer Id want to have again, and didnt leave me wanting a second one like a good session beer does.

Tap at the brewery. Pours soft straw gold pour with one finger of offwhite head. Nose is grassy and lightly citric hints of wet hay and baked bread. Flavor shows some diacetyl, lightly buttery. Tastes like a rest may have been able to clear it. Zesty hop bite and lightly grassy and bready.

On tap at the brewpub. Fairly clear golden pour with moderate carbonation. Nose is pert, grassy, mild fruits. Not nearly as ripe and yeasty as some other small beers Ive had, and it tastes a bit like a dank, lightly hopped lager. Not bad for a dry, slightly musty session brew.

Finally, I think this is my first rating of a mild ale! This one is light orange-golden in color with a small white head and moderate lacing. Nose is grassy hops and mild bitterness. Delicate but flavorful, and great with food. If this were cheap, I could drink lots of it.

TURDFERGUSON (3948) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Golden orange with a light white head. Nose is light, clean, and zesty/grassy hops. Flavor is similarly fresh and clean, with mild bitterness. Good stuff.
