COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Join us in helping put an end to prostate cancer by drinking for a cause. In November, men around the world are growing moustaches and raising awareness/money to support the Movember foundation. A portion of every Movamber pint goes to the "Durham, City of Moustache" team. This US/UK hybrid ale was brewed with the help of Dr. Greg Lewis, created of the Columbus hop. Greg, originally from the UK, is one of the foremost authoritites on hops in the world and lives in the Triangle area. He came to BCBB to brew his very first batch of beer and selected the hop varieties used. The beer was filtered, but then dry hopped which creates a slightly cloudy appearance. The nose is very hoppy in aroma, yet very drinkable in bitterness. HOPS USED: Columbus, Cascade, Fuggles

Red orange in color... Minimal faint hop aroma... Flavor is caramel malts, minimal hop bitterness... Pretty good amber

On tap at BCBB. Indeed a great cause, and not a bad beer either. Kind of a rusty amber pour, with a modest fluffy head and decent lacing. Bright and hoppy aroma shows promise, and I was hoping for something along the lines of a hoppy red. Flavors are more conventional but enjoyable enough for the style, buoyed by a pleasantly dry finish.

Draft at BCBB. Pours medium amber with one-finger light beige head. Nose is pleasantly hoppy. Citrus zest and some caramel malt. Light biscuit notes. Taste doesn’t pick up on the hop bitterness at all. Smoother and more like an amber. Good for an unexciting style.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark amber brown with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt, light fruits, English hops (Fuggles). Flavor is mostly malt forward but there is a nice floral hops presence. A nice English pale ale, superbly drinkable. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)

Thanks Bull City for donating to Homebrew for Hunger. Pours soft copper amber with one finger of sandstone tan head. Nose is hoppy, shows some peanut hull and citrus zest. Tastes like an amber fo sho, lightly toasty and bready. Some citric and grassy notes. Medium body and light bitterness.

Pours a layered brownish amber with a thin white head. Nose is lightly hoppy and malty. Some toast, light roast, hops. Solid little amber.
