This Pale Ale-style beer has an alluring autumn hue. Aromas of caramel, orange zest and light floral hops greet the nose. There is a pleasant sweet malt character up front followed quickly by apricot. The finish is crisp and hoppy, providing a nice counterpoint to the malt. Sporting a fuller body, it is richer and hoppier than our Golden Ale. Despite the name "pale," this style of beer is darker in color than our Golden Ale. Parrish Street was known as "Black Wall Street" with many local black owned businesses located on Parrish. HOPS USED: Northern Brewer, Goldings, Fuggles

Rated on 02-27-2013 at Bull City Burger & Brewery. This beer has a small off-white head that mostly diminishes, mostly transparent/slightly hazy golden body, no visible carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is floral hops, fruity and caramel malt. The flavor is citrus, floral hops, caramel malt, semi-sweet and has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable and a beer I would drink again.

On tap at the brewpub, on a lunch date with my 3-year-old. Pour is light, slightly hazy orange with brownish tint. Small foamy sorta homebrew head. Palate has that same barely carbonated, fresh feel to it. Kinda dig that, actually. Nose shows bready malts and light English hops. Some slightly grass notes, but light bready malts are most of what’s going on here. Easygoing for lunch, so huzzah for that.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Clear orange pour. On tap at the brewpub. Nose is sharp orange flintstones pushpop. Sugary. Taste is tangy, tea, sweeter orange. Perfumey. Decent. Lightly bitter. Minerally, Suddy palate. Ok. Taste feels drained, tad papery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. I expected a little more from this one. Poured an amber color with a small head. I didn’t get much hoppiness in either taste or smell to this. This was a run-of-the-mill pale ale to me.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral hops with and herbal tinge along with stone fruits. The taste caramel malts, citrus, herbal and floral hop notes. Medium bodied.
