Pours a dark mahogany color with a big frothy head that fades to good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, some chocolate and a bit nutty. Taste of roasted malt, some chocolate and bit of coffee and nuts in the background. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly medium body, smooth and a bit creamy. Nice beer for the style, nothing fancy, that goes down easy.

650mL bottle purchased from the brewery online. Pours clear brown with a small soapy white head and an aroma of chocolate with slight coffee notes. The flavour is very similar with an added burnt note and no hop flavour to speak of. Typical english brown, nothing outstanding.

I thought this was a very good interpretation of an English brown mild 4.7% abv notwithstanding. Soft chocolate biscuit flavours with a mineral edge and even softer hop bitterness to finish. Hops are more obvious on the nose. Supremely drinkable.

Bottle shared with the lads at work. Real gusher this one. Lost half the bottle before we could get some in the glass. Pours a cloudy drak brown with largish tan coloured head. Falls away very quickly. Aromas are quite faint showing some nutiness and a little chocloate. Some sourness and a little bitterscotch. A little odd and not that nice to be honest. Things dont improve with the flavours. The beer is ridiculously over carbed so it makes it hard to taste much but there is a little sweetness and more of that sourness. Not that great I am afraid.

Gusher. Complete geyser upon opening. Beer went everywhere.
Pours brown with a large head that quickly fades to nothing.
Nose shows chocolate and nutty malt, but is pretty faint.
Same story with the flavours, chocolate and soft roasted malt. Finishes very dry with a bold bitterness.
Ridiculously over-carbed. Like a soft drink.
Obviously some major kinks needing to be sorted out.
