COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bulldog is an award winning strong ale that was first brewed for the export market in 1947. The traditional recipe and maturing process of "warm conditioning" which takes place after fermentation, has been deliberately retained to preserve the strength and quality. The beer is dry hopped and the distinctive mellow flavour of Bulldog Strong Ale allowed to develop slowly.

Bottiglia da 33 CL, colore ambrato chiaro, schiuma fine che sparisce presto, il sapore prevalente è quello del malto

Bottle. Golden amber body. Thin white head. Nose is bread, malt, fruit, alcohol. Taste is sweet. Dry finish. Tastes kind of cheap, a little bit like Gold Label. Can imagine would taste quite good ice cold in Italy (its principal export market) however.

Kita (1372) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottled, 0.33l. Pours clear orange golden with thin tan-like head and lively bubbles. Aroma of caramel malt, vanilla, dried fruits, herbal hops and with light alcohol note. Taste starts with sweet and rich malt, then followed sour grassy and refreshing fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, although some piney spiciness is felt, too. Aftertaste is strong hoppy. Medium to full body, thick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good doggy beer...

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2013 Bottled 04/06/13. A classic brown coloured beer with a rocky white head and lace. A very very husky malty beer. Sweet strong and alcoholic. Old fashioned strong ale. A bit one dimensional. Not for me. Score 2.4
Subsequent rating scored 3.0. Average becomes 2.7
