COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bulldog is an award winning strong ale that was first brewed for the export market in 1947. The traditional recipe and maturing process of "warm conditioning" which takes place after fermentation, has been deliberately retained to preserve the strength and quality. The beer is dry hopped and the distinctive mellow flavour of Bulldog Strong Ale allowed to develop slowly.

Caramellosa e frizzantina. Retrogusto di mandorla. E’ bilanciata dall’amarognolo del luppolo. Il portamento del cane sull’etichetta è semplicemente meraviglioso.

Light amber color. Too light aroma, but with a reasonable malty body. Medium strong. Not bad.

33 cl bottle. Clear light amber with one finger creamy offwhite head. Flowery nose. Good amount of sweet malts and lots of peppery hops. Unbalanced, starts sweet and sticky and finish into a massive bitterness, but the finish is long. Noticeable alcohol and syrup. Thick and oily, heavy.

Light red ambar with creamy brownish head. Smell is caramel and malty. On mouth is complex, malty and rich yeast. Hops are notorious and ver dry in the aftertaste. Nice beer and highly recommend it.

very enoyable, raw yet rich, strong yet sweet. It tastes old fashioned.. There us nothing slick or modern about this beer.

Hi, I found bulldog a wonderfully mellow strong barley wine type beer. Served chilled makes a wonderfully smooth drink. I have shared a few bottles with friends and they are of the same opinion as me. Its real ale to the bottom of the bottle! Here in Dudley, [Black Country] it as been on sale for around six months, I hope it carries on being on sale! Alan
