Buller Oktoberfest

Poured copper with a smallish head. Sweet malt flavor, but a bit too much. Not so much an Octoberfest style, average beer.

Notas maltadas e lupuladas, com bom amargor do lúpulo. O conjunto é suave e agradável. Cor de mogno, espuma branca. Carbonatação baixa. O sabor é melhor que o aroma, sendo este último fraco. Predominância de malte no sabor. Final levemente amargo.

on tap-pours a retaining off white ring and amber color. Aroma is mild light malt-caramel. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, faint hops bite. Mild carbonation.

Tap at brewpub in Buenos Aires. Medium golden amber color with a white head. Malty aroma with caramel and wheat. Dry finish.

Recoleta location. Clear, bronzey color. Aroma of fried sweetbread and caramel. Tastes of mild black nuts and cashews, with an aerosol sentiment beneath. Simple, very beige and undefined. Palate is smooth, but not watery, though also very dull. Lacks dynamics, generally.

Draft at Buller brewpub Clear, copper color, flat. Small white head. Aroma is sweet of honey, apples and grains. Flavor is sweet, too, of cereals, bread, apple and almonds.

Draught at the brewpub. Amber colour, brief head. Caramelly with spicy hops and clean rounded mouthfeel. Resiny finish. A bold and unrefined on oktoberfest, lacking the malt depth needed in this difficult style.
