A hazy amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is very light with notes of citrus and caramel. The flavor is sweet, but soon dry and bitter, and with a very bitter end. It lacks hops for aroma - so the Cascade must be added at a wrong time - and probably only once?

I looked very much forward to this dark amber beer with the moderate head. The aroma has a lot of Cascade (a favorit of mine), caramel and a hint of yeast. The same notes are found in the flavour, and it’s a really nice IPA with good bitterness, balance and harmony. I enjoyed it on my birthday in September 06, and it was my rating 1525.

Pours a dark amber with an initial nice off white head that dissappears quickly and forms a fine head. Aroma has some yeast and pine and a lot of hops - though it still feels sweet. Very dry mouthfeel, some caramel and quite a lot of hops. It’s not that balanced - not as the other Bullerups.

Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Beige dense head. Yeasty flowery aroma with some piney notes. Is quite soapy, but not unpleasant. Flavour is caramelly, yeasty and is quite floral. Again some light soapy notes. Is medium bodied. Quite dry. Is well balanced. Ends on a caramelly and fruity bitterness. Decent brew, eventhough I personally would prefer some more power in aroma and flavour.

Clear copper/amber with little head/foam. Ok filling texture. Cascade hops dominates throughout. Yeasty notes. A bit soapy. Bitter pleasant lasting finish. OK enjoyable!

Bottled. Almost clear, copper-colored with an off-white head. Hoppy and piney aroma with some alcohol. Quite hoppy flavor as well, with pine and fruit. Full-bodied, and a nice fruity bitterness in the finish. A bit one-dimentional, but not bad. (061013)

Bottle. Sweet hop aroma. Cloudy, muddy dark brown colour, bottom of bottle. Teaish hop flavour with a good bitterness. Yeasty aftertaste.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a cloudy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Fairly solid body with accents of burned caramel and licorice - not really your typical IPA fare. Unfortunately the Cascade notes vanish rather quickly only leaving a dry, lightly bitter finish. 031006

Muddy deep amber colour with a foamy beige head. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with a hoppy citric note. Malty, fruity and caramel sweet flavor with a hoppy and dry finish.

[Bottle from Vinens Verden] Had expected more. Is it a true cascade taste? Maybe, but otherwise it is an ok beer, which makes good hopes for the future. Congratulations to Bullerup
