(Draught at the brewery tap, Bermondsey, London, 29 Nov 2014) Hazy amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, crisp-bread, rye and grapefruit. Malty, fruity taste with rye bread, citrus, grapefruit, a slightly sharp rye character and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, with lots of rye and a generous hop presence. Nice one.

Clear orange beer, nice creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, caramel malts, gum ball, exotic fruits, sweet mango. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fuck yes! Very fruity start, bit floral, citrus, exotic fruit explosion, bitter and piny, bit resinous. Aftertaste: fruity, mango, piny, bit of honey, sweet malts, hoppy and bitter finish. Lovely stuff!!

teorn88 (3630) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2014
33cl bottle from the brewery tap room, London. It pours a hazy copper color with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is full of fresh resiny hops, with notes of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, rye bread and candy sugar. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a slight tart dry finish. Notes of caramel malts, citrus peel, light plastic note, tea leaves, grapefruit, hoppy piney bitterness. Medium bodied with creamy texture and good carbonation. Overall, the taste delivers slightly less than what the aroma anticipates but this remains a very tasty and balanced rye IPA nonetheless.
