Golden and cloudy wheat beer with fresh mixed-in apricot. Incredibly refreshing and tasty anytime brew. Lingering apricot aftertaste. Can stick with this all day. Crisp like a chardonnay.

On tap at the brewery as party of beerquest 2.5. Lots of awesome apricot juice taste... I think it’s better than the Peche which is somewhat comparable.

On tap at the brewery served in a 5oz glass. Pour was a clear golden yellow with a solid show of lacing. Nose was has huge apricot and sweet malts. Taste was apricot, plums, malts and light hops. The apricots were good but a little overwhelming.

Pours a pale orange (should I say apricot?) with a bit of haze a tiny white head. The smell is a bit of apricot alongside some dry wheat. After all the terrible fruit wheat beers I had on a roadtrip this summer, a nice, authentic fruit-infused wheat beer is really nice. Taste is apricot with some wheat dryness; light mouthfeel with good carbonation. Good drinkability, especially for a fruit beer.

Draft at the Brewpub with Andrew, Brendan and big boy PJ. Pours a clear body with no head. Aroma is straight delicious Apricot. Fresh apricot pretty much dominated the flavor here, as expected, but I can’t pinpoint what makes this one of the best apricot fruit beers I’ve ever tried.

On tap at Bullfrog. Pours a hazy brown with a small white head. Soft apricot, wheat and toast. Gently sweet, light apricot, not artificial or cloying. Nice malt smoothness, long soft gently bitter finish.

Draft @ Six N Save. Wow, who would have thought I could get a Bullfrog draft on the western side of PA ?!? Coloring is just like a glass of apple cider, small white head that dissapears almost immediately to leave a wisp on the top. Aroma is a very subdued apricot and wheat. Flavor is at first wheat and then a really great touch of apricot on the finish, though it’s not cloying or sweet, just enough to enjoy it, but not get sick of it. Finish is dry.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kkearn (1165) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2009
Draft, at Bullfrog Brewpub on 7/5/09. Pours a clear copper color, topped with a small white head. Aroma is a bit subdued, wheat is the highlight, but there are some hints of real apricot in the background. Wheat is the dominant flavor as well, but the apricot is a little more evident than in the aroma. There are notes of grain, a little earth, and white pepper in the background. Finish was a tad astringent. Better than I expected.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep cloudy caramel with a medium white head. Aroma of apricots, wheat and malt. Taste of fresh apricots, malt and wheat.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6948) - Straßgiech, Bavaria, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2006
Draught at the brewery. Creamy texture, crisp and light up front, then more syrupy and slightly sour in the back. Very good real apricot flavor, rind-like and slightly sour, with a fresh and muddy wheat flavor. Appearance is slightly cloudy, light orange in color with a frothy white head. Creamy wheat and apricot fruit aromas, very well made overall. I enjoyed this one on my visit, but considering how low the other scores are, I may have been suffering from palate fatigue.
