On tap at pub. Dark red-amber pour, thin white ring for a head. Nose reminiscent of Earthmonk, plum and cherry, light earth and balsamic, more flemish and less red-wine than Jaspers. Very flemish flavor with light chocolate, bit of cardboard, cherry, and hints of acidity. At room temp a bit too much acid and could use more malt as balance if flemish sour is intended. Still pretty decent, Supplication-esque without the fruit complexity or coherence.

Tap, beer dinner @ Jeremiah’s Pours a dark garnet body with a minimal fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is just slightly acetic with some nice cheesy/footy funk. A lighter touch of woodiness. The flavor is rather funky, but not acetic at all. Lots of cheesy barnyard funkiness. Reminds me of a Flanders Red more than anything. Just a bit of light wood on the finish. Medium bodied, nicely attenuated, not sticky or sweet at all. Nice fizzy lively carbonation. Pretty decent overall.
