COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Koelsch style all malt beer. This lightly colored ale has a delicate floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of Williamsport's first breweries. This beer is clean and crisp with just a touch of lingering sweetness leading to a dry balanced finish.

Draft, Bullfrog Brewery. Pours a clear, light golden color; thin, off-white head with patchy lacing. Very light, grape and citrus in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: yellow fruit, citrus, and a decent dose of refined sugar upfront; not very complex, but well-integrated and very sessionable; a decent floral hoppiness coming through. Medium, sugar and light floral finish.

Boring, offputing and more than a little bit skunky. They really should get rid of the stuff.

On tap at the brewery. Very mild aroma with not too much in the way of hops or malt. Very clean, though. Pale yellow clear with thin lacing head. Light body with medium-light carbonation. Starts beany with light sweetness and good crisp hops. A bit watery overall but it a nice blond/koelsch - almost bordering on a light lager. Crisp clean finish with dry bitter after.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a minimal head. Fruity aroma with a background of some crystal malt. Grainy malt flavor with a corn aftertaste, light floral hoppiness on the finish. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Not a whole lot going on here, very light in everything. I was shocked to see this classified as a Kolsch and that the description says all malt.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 I am not much of a fan of this style in general and this beer did little to impress me. Sampled on draft at the brewery the beer poured a pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is very light. The flavor is light malts with a hint of nut and a trace of floral hops underneath. An uninspired beer.

Poured a golden color with a small white, creamy head that left light lacing on the glass. Lightly hopped, straw, and toasted malt aroma. Overall this was rather tasteless, sweet, corn tasting malt and finishing lightly bitter. Overall, a fairly boring beer.

A crisp hoppy attack your taste buds brew. Better than standard German imports. Not a bad brew in the joint and all have a decent smell and head. Refreshing fresh taste

The description calls this a koelsch, but I don't believe it. Extremely pale yellow, fizzy, smells veyr faintly of hops and hay, tastes grassy and somewhat skunky. Little malt. Very macro tasting, especially with all the fizz.
