COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Koelsch style all malt beer. This lightly colored ale has a delicate floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of Williamsport's first breweries. This beer is clean and crisp with just a touch of lingering sweetness leading to a dry balanced finish.

Pours a pale yellow gold; nothing spectacular but a nice white head and decent lacing. Smell has a pale base with a nice, refreshing amount of floral hops--always nice in a blonde ale, which is all too often something that is just completely generic. This reminded me a little bit of the magnificent Sierra Nevada 22 Bines that I had last year. A nice floral hoppiness--albeit light hoppiness--is most of what comes through in the flavor department, leading to an exceedingly drinkable light brew. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 02-11-2010

Nice light malts in the aroma, some spicy hops, clean. Slightly hazy straw colored pour, white head with average retention, little lacing. Light grain flavor, pils malts and noble hop notes. Low bitterness, a hint of sweetness. Light body, medium carbonation.

A crisp hoppy attack your taste buds brew. Better than standard German imports. Not a bad brew in the joint and all have a decent smell and head. Refreshing fresh taste

Pale straw coloured pour. Thin white head. The nose is lightly spicy. Clean and a little bit biscuity with a soft spicy/lemony malt character. Lean body along with a kiss of tartness. Softly fruity and spicy with a soft lingering crackery finish. Very dry finish. Pretty solid.

[4661-20120817] Tap. Mild lake water yeast aroma. Clear, yellow brown body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grainy yeast flavour has a nice citrus base. Medium body. Quite tasty, simple but drinkable. (7/3/7+/3/14) 3.4

Pours clear pale straw color with a small fizzy white head. Nose is grainy and fruity, almost like a chardonnay. Flavor is light, slight citrus and a bit papery. Grainy too. Light and refreshing body. Very spritzy consistency. Also, had no idea this was a kolsch, but whatever it is, it is a solid beer.
