Nate (2177), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 15, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Very mild aroma with not too much in the way of hops or malt. Very clean, though. Pale yellow clear with thin lacing head. Light body with medium-light carbonation. Starts beany with light sweetness and good crisp hops. A bit watery overall but it a nice blond/koelsch - almost bordering on a light lager. Crisp clean finish with dry bitter after.
TomDecapolis (2340), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 7, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly translucent golden with a medium creamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of light cereal grains, a touch of lemon and grassy. Flavor of cereal grains, lemon, grassy, crisp and refreshing. sleepylopes (255), New York, USA Jun 19, 2008 Not maybe a kolsch but under rated no less. Apple notes through and a bit sharp. They did get the crisp but not thehop or carb profile. acrdz (4129), Pennsylvania, USA Apr 13, 2008 Draft @ Bullfrog. Clear filtered yellow body, sharp and snappy nose of corn, grains, a bit of fuesal alcohol, and some musty sweet funk. Texture is oily, sharp, not exactly crisp but decent enough, and it develops a dryness in the finish. A simple beer, unremarkable but not bad. kmweaver (1800), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Nov 23, 2007 Draft, Bullfrog Brewery. Pours a clear, light golden color; thin, off-white head with patchy lacing. Very light, grape and citrus in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: yellow fruit, citrus, and a decent dose of refined sugar upfront; not very complex, but well-integrated and very sessionable; a decent floral hoppiness coming through. Medium, sugar and light floral finish. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA Sep 24, 2007 Boring, offputing and more than a little bit skunky. They really should get rid of the stuff.
