[5633-20130816] Tap. Orange resin candied citrus hops aroma. Slightly hazy, yellow orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Candied resiny hops flavour has a nice long aftertaste. Medium body. Great! (8/3+/8/4/15) 3.8

We stopped at Bullfrog on a trip up to NY and the Coq Fight was probably the best beer on tap at Bullfrog at the time. Decent hop bitterness balanced with a solid maltiness, very drinkable.

Pours a very hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has light citrus, rind, and a touch of pepper. Flavor follows suit...very rindy/spicy...a hint of grass...notable pepper...really just a hoppy saison more than an IPA in my opinion. Mouthfeel is light/medium and silky with a dry grapefruity/rindy and peppery finish.

2013-08-16. Lightly hazy bright orange body small white head and lace. Aroma is lightly yeasty, modest citrusy hops. Flavour is pleasantly bitter on first sip. Nice citrusy fruity notes, drier grassier character in the finish. Lingering bitterness and orange peel notes. Smooth average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Pretty nice. On tap at the brewpub, Williamsport

Pours hazy gold with a small off white head. Aroma is citrus, especially grapefruit, earthy and light spice. Taste is tart, spicy with a sweet finish. Medium bodied, alcohol well hidden. Tasty

Draft at Bullfrog during Little League World Series parade. Pours a pale cloudy yellow/ orange. There was a very slight white head once I got it. Aromas of wet hay and resinous hops. The taste was definitely on the bitter side and it took some time for my palate to warm up to it. After that this was a delightful farmhouse although I would prefer more aromatic hops.

Draft at Draft. Pours very turbid golden color with off-white head. Nose was funky yeasty pale malt, tropical hopcitrus. Tasted hoppy, citric, floral, and yeasty funky, with a complex finish. This one was delicious.

Draft. Pours hazy orange with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a nice mix of orange peel, belgian yeast, astringency, and a bit of floral notes. The taste is medium bitter, slight lemony orange balance.

Tap. Pours a very cloudy yellow body with a one finger frothy white head that had pretty nice retention. The nose is a nice mix of citrusy hops, heavy yeastiness, and pale malt. Maybe some wheat in here? The heavy yeastiness is quite unexpected, I had a growler of this a few weeks ago and I do t remember this being so cloudy. The flavor is dominate by the citrusy hops, but also dulled a bit from the heavy yeast slurry thatís going on in here. Itís very soft and well rounded, but I canít help remember this being much cleaner and brighter when I had it the first time. Medium bodied with and almost creamy texture from the heavy yeast, soft gentle carbonation. This was decent, but I think it has suffered a bit since it first came on (was at a party an didnít rate it then).

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with a quarter inch white head. SLight grapefruit on the nose. Bigger hop grapefruit on the tongue. Not getting much of the farmhouse. Finishes with more of the grapefruit which lingers a bit. Not feeling this one as much.
